  My children have been patients at SSP for over 16 years. Dr. Well-Jarrett has cared for all of my children and I have no complaints about her. However, the support staff could be a little more professional and kind. When I check in I'm often greeted (or not) by someone who is not fully present. Their bodies are at the desk, but they are usually off into something else, cell phone or something else. I understand that they have to multitask, but that's not a good idea when another human being is standing right in front of you. Most recently, I received unwavering disregard for my chidrens health and my 16+ years as a customer. I tried to scheduled an appointment and turns out I have a balance accrued. I was told that my children, who need to be seen, will not be seen until i pay $50. $50 is no big deal, however, I explained to her that I would like to present the bill to a judge in a current legal proceeding I am a part of. No it's not the doctors office's job to be into my family law issues, however, I thought that by me being a client of nearly 17 years that she could give me 30 days to get bills presented to the judge in my custody hearing. Of course the judge is going to make an ORDER on who has to pay. That's neither here nor there. I am disappointed at how worthless I was made feel over $50 after thousands have been paid over 16+ years. I asked to speak to Dr. Wells and was told she has nothing to do with it. I'm disappointed. Loyalty and years of service matters not when you're talking about a $50 payment. I am going to save this post, pay them $50, take the receipt to court and STILL express my frustrations with them and FIND ANOTHER PEDIATRICIAN.
